After her marriage and move to Pune, Sananda founded her own fashion design business, MAGS, which stands for a short version of the word "magazine." This name was inspired by the famous magazine "Sananda" from Bengal, and the brand's core values were to make couture more accessible

Sananda's brand, "MAGS By Sananda Basak," launched in 2017, has been a success due to her unique approach to fashion design. She has assembled a team of highly skilled artisans and craftsmen, including traditional embroidery and zardosi craftsmen and graphic designers, to create unique and personalized custom-designed outfits for her clients.
